Who is KidSport
KidSportâ„¢ was established by Sport BC in 1993 and is a community based sport charity. Since its inception in British Columbia, KidSportâ„¢ has grown to include national and provincial/territorial chapters operating across Canada. There are now more than 150 local community chapters that have raised in excess of $5 million dollars and provided a season of sport to more than 45,000 Canadian children in 65 different sports.
KidSport Tri-Cities is a volunteer-run, local chapter of KidSport BC. We raise money to subsidize the sport registration fees for kids and families in need. We believe that all kids should have the opportunity to benefit from all of the great things that community sports have to offer. We partner with a number of community organizations to raise money. We also organize two huge community based used equipment sales each year. These sales get quality used equipment to families that really need it and raise money and awareness for KidSport Tri-Cities.
